I'm 35 male. While getting into the train yesterday 20Aug I got my left chest hit the door handle because of the rush. Specifically in the chest line towards the left pec. An hour later I visited a doctor who gave me medicines, a pain killer and one for acidity. And to take it after dinner and breakfast for 2 says. Today I'm still feeling pain but less than before but still pain is there whole coughing, breathing heavily. Should I take an x-ray?

You can take the xray... but if there is an injury.. then pain takes 2-3 days to go completely... no need to panic..
