Hi Doctor, we shifted to Johannesburg recently from delhi. After some days my wife Pooja had some symptoms of flu. After some time little blood particles started coming out of with the mucus. We consulted a doctor, he said it's just a common flu and gave some antibiotics for a week. After a week the blood particles were still coming. The doctor suggested for an X-ray and the report specified Bronchial Inflammatory condition. The doctor gave a stronger dose of antibiotics (amox 1 mg). After a week the blood particles are still coming. Please suggest.

Hi, Lybrate user, She should take, plenty of water to hydrate her body. Is she suffered from body ache, shevering,fever and cough with bloody mucus? You need to differentiat the symptoms of bronchitis (cough+ fever)) and flu,(fever, shevering and fever) first, these are two different diseases, as such. Avoid, cold intake, junkfood. Take, homoeopathic medicine: @ Bryonia album 30- 5 drops ,thrice, orally. Tk, care.
