Hello doctor, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 17/7/18. We used pulled out method and I took I pill within an hour of intercourse. After that we had protected sex several times using condoms. Last month my periods date was 14 July to 17 July. I missed my periods this month and it's already 21 St August. I took urine pregnancy test. It showed negative result. What might be the reason of delay in periods? Is it normal? Is there any chances of pregnancy? PS: I didn't get any bleeding or pain after taking I pill.

Hello, you may repeat the urine pregnancy test again after 3 days and if still negative then you can be sure that the delay is due to known side effect of ipill to delay next few cycles and then can safely wait for menses to arrive naturally.
