Dear Doctor, My 4-year old daughter has been suffering from fever frequently (thrice in a span of two months with a gap of about one week to ten days, otherwise active child even when running temperature. Consulting Doc ordered CBP, ESR, Peripheral smear, D3 History: Ectopic thyroid on 125 mcg Thyronorm Hematology and Biochemistry Findings: WBC is elevated at 16000 Absolute Neutrophil count: 9200 Absolute Lymphocyte count is 5600 Absolute Eosinophil count is 0 Differential count of neutrophil is 57 eosinophil is 0 Platelet Count elevated at 491000 Peripheral Smear RBC: Normocytic Hypochromic WBC: Absolute Neutrophilic leukocytosis Platelets: Mild Thrombocytosis ESR: 29 Vitamin D: 12.85 Rest of the findings are within normal range.
