Can you suggest a good carb and protien lunch for athletes? I need to have a Indian lunch and evening snacks rich in carbs and protein 2-3 days before and on the day of the football match. Non veg and veg both are fine.

Evening snacks can be a channa chat a mix of boiled channa, corn, sweet potatoes with cucumber, coconut and tomatoes and lots of herbs like ginger mint coriander. It could also be a glass of sattu For lunch you could have some lean chicken or pulses, and a pumpkin vegetable with a bhakri made of millets.
