Before 5 months I had a urinal tract infection. At that time my right testicle have swelling with mild pain and epididymis became hard. On examination of urine it showed PUS CELLS 7-9 /HPF and EPITHELIAL CELLS 3-4 /HPF. And a PATHOGENIC GROWTH of organism Proteus mirabilis with colony count >10^5 CFU/ml. Urologist gave me 1 week medicines. Then swelling and pain gone but it hurts when right testicles get touched by mistake during motion or movement while in left testicle nothing happens. After treatment sometimes I feels that my infection has not gone yet but no symptoms except mild pain occasionally. Now in present I had pain most of the time in same testicle (right. On consulting with same urologist he said me that their are chances that you can become infertile. Can I become infertile or I can be normal after proper treatment of UTI. He said me you are likely to become infertile. Or tell me that this UTI can be cured or not. I am very stressed Please tell me proper treatment.
