My mom has a construction nail pierced while walking 15-20 days back, lot of blood was gone, she took tetanus injection and antibiotic. Now the wound in the foot has healed, but still pains, while walking. What could be the cause for pain? is xray required? Would you recommend any medicine for treatment.

We need to do a local examination but if pain is there than there could be a possibility of having a mud particle as a foreign body or another possibility of fibrosis and till than for pain take tablet paracetamol.
