I am having irregular menstrual cycle. This time has been 3.5 months and the period has not come. Due to that I am facing major health problems like, swelling in body, body pain, hair fall. My thyroid is normal when I check but my doctor had recommended Thyronorm 25 mg and I am taking from 4 years. I have consulted with gynecologist but could not get diagnosed permanently. Hi lybrate-user, Suppressed menses definitely lead to problems as described by you. Have you undergone USG or some hormonal tests? What are the findings? Stress is also major cause of suppression of menses. So do take care of that also.
