My daughter is 6 years old. She has tonsils. She got cold and fever frequently. I consult with a lot of doctors. Some say surgery has to be done for tonsils. Some say never do surgery. So I am in a lot of confusion. I am also not interested in surgery treatment. So please tell me a cure for this.

If she has recurrent episodes of acute tonsillitis documented by a doctor more than 4 times a year, its recommended you get her tonsils removed. If its less than that, you don't need surgery. The guidelines are very clear. Hope that helps you to make a decision.
