I am a 30 year old female .I was prescribed crisanta as a contraceptive last year in January which I took for almost 2 months. Though it helped a lot with my adult acne and mood in general but after stopping the pill, I had breakthrough bleeding which was enormously heavy. I want to use the pill again as a contraceptive and to prevent the acne. Suggest the best course. My periods were on 19th of this months which are regular and last for 5 days.

Crisanta Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill. It works by preventing the release of egg (ovulation) and affecting sperm movement in the womb to prevent its union with the egg. It also changes the lining of the womb and renders it unsuitable for pregnancy. You can go on completing the course of the tablets.
