Hi Doctor, I have pet of Pug dog. Last week while we were playing ,accidentally it's nail got touch on my hand and got a scratch on my hand. So I didn't take a chance .I went to hospital and Took injection as the first day. They inform me that I need to take the next course of injection after 7 days .But today also I got similar type of scratch on my leg from my dog. So my question is that does I start the injection course from the beginning?

Dear Lybrate User, If you were given IDRV which is the best and widely used injection now, the course is 4 injections on D 0.3,7.28.I wonder why you were not given th D3 course. Anyway you have to complete the present course and no need for another course starting from the beginning as you have been bitten now.
