I play football, cricket with friends and do running. Recently while playing I injured my knee. MRI report says it's partial ACL tear. Will this recover on its own? Or physiotherapist session require or surgery? MRI reports says: 1. Partial tear at the femoral attachment of ACL 2. Intrasubstance changes in the posterior hom of medial meniscus 3. Bone contusion in the medial and the lateral tibial condyle 4. Mild joint effusion. Injury in the insertion of popliteus muscle.

Do some ice therapy, knee strengthening exercise, do not bend your knee at all, keep it straight for 3 weeks, you can consult physiotherapists, use knee immobiliser for keeping your knee straight, don't play.
