Dear lybrateuser, - To gain weight & to build muscles you have to consume a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods & do regular exercise - have more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein rich foods such as eggs, non veg, milk & milk products such as cheese, yogurt, butter milk, cottage cheese, tofu, beans, lentils, pulses, peas, sprouts, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, peanuts - include a protein food in each if your meals & also as a snack in between meals to boost your protein content in diet - do regular exercise like jogging, swimming, push ups, pull ups, crunches, squats, do moderate weight lifting twice a week to build your muscles & to keep fit.
