Dear Lybrateuser, - To reduce gas formation chew your food well, have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water for proper hydration - other protein sources like milk & milk products, eggs, tofu, soya products are protein rich sources& can be substituted in place of gram which is not a complete protein - if you still want to continue then take an antacid like gelusil tablet half an hour after food.
