Hi Sir, I am a diabetic since 20 years taking Glycomet-GP 2 & voglibose 03 mg before breakfast and Glycomet-GP 1 before dinner. My fasting b.s. Is 100 mg & ppbs after breakfast is 222 mg. I am taking two medium size chapatis with vegetable in breakfast. I have lost weight from 60 kg to 56 kg on last three months. My height is ft 5.6 inch & my age is 60. What should I do for control of my ppbs. My hb1AC was 7.4 in April 2018.

No need to decrease weight drastically, you can have small sugarless meals frequently, go for walk, walking is good to low down blood glucose level.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Your PP glucose is a bit high, ideally it should be around 160 to 170 mg. That can be achieved by altering the dietary pattern, by increasing the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and few fruits. Plus increasing the intensity of physical activity or duration of it. Thanks.
