Hi I am 32 years old housewife. 2 month before I had knee pain I took treatment doctor told not to worry it is due to muscle weakness n less vitamin. Now again pain has started another orthopaedic told it's chondromalacia please let me know is it very dangerous and will my pain go?

HI lybrate-user usually in this age group arthritis of the knee is very rare. The pain is mostly due to softening of cartilage either due to vit d deficiency or calcium. Avoid excessive load on the knee like sitting on the floor, climbing stairs and standing for long time. Do exercises like cycling and walking. Vit d suppliments and chondro protective agents should help.
