Hi, this is for a friend of mine who is suffering from severe knee joint pain. A MRI was done and the conclusion of the report is radial tear in the posterior root attachment of medial meniscus. Complex tear in the body, adjacent interior and posterior horns of medial meniscus with suspicious small anteromedially flipped fragment. Early medial tibial-femoral and mild patella-femoral osteoarthritis. Mucoid degeneration of anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus root attachments with subchondral cystic changes in posterior aspect of tibial eminence. Mild to moderate knee joint effusion. I want to know how serious is the issue and what should be the line of treatment in the above circumstance.
