My father is 65 years old. He is suffering from urinary tract infection and enlarged prostate. The psa level is 127. The serum creatinine test results were as- creatinine-5.5 and urea-153. The doctors inserted urine pipe and gave certain medicine. After 20 days RFT was performed the result were as- creatinine-3.89 and urea-78. What is the current position of kidney?

There are 2 things one is high creatinine which might take few more days to come back to normal because prostate causes back pressure changes which leads to high creatinine. Ones it comes down surgery should be done. 2 nd is high psa value. So repeat psa again if it is high then ask your urologist to rule out prostate cancer.
