I'm having vertigo since many years. Sometimes it's very severe. All the things are rotating. Doctor has suggested me not to take BP medicine for one week. I have been taking high BP medicines since 6 years. So should I stop taking BP medicines? Please suggest.

It depends on regularly monitoring your Blood pressure and taking a decision accordingly. Be cautious though. There are many other causes like Cervical spondylosis, Labyrinthitis, Hypertension etc of vertigo. So do not do anything without consulting your doctor.
