To provide a diet chart I need to know following details: present fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, diet pattern, extent of daily exercise and details of current medications with dosage, plus lipid profile. Your diet intake has to be based on the ideal body weight (not on current weight) which should be about 50 kgs. You will have to avoid junk foods, sweets, deep fried foods, pastries, bakery items and foods made from maida. Plus avoid colas and alcohol. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Always use whole grain flour for roti and chapati. Thanks.
