I have only one kidney. My right kidney is non functional and I have planned for simple nephrectomy. My left kidney status is grade 1 hydronephrosis in ultrasound which is later confirmed by NCCT kub that extra renal pelvis not hydronephrosis. In DTPA scan 76% GFR with compensatory hypertrophy left kidney. Is it harmful to the left kidney? If any what is the precautions?

No, just because right kidney is not present, left kidney has taken the load of that kidney on itself! That s why hypertrophied.
