I am 24 year old male, I have minor habits of OCD since I was a child and I wash hands 10 times a day and check locks more than one time and a couple of times I was worried about any infection in my entire life and it then it goes away and I feel completely fine. But 2 months back I started reading a book called" POWER OF YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND" it is a book about" whatever you think becomes the reality" and. After reading the first few pages my brain started fighting against me and gives me a thought that I have cancer or something. I tried to ignore, fight and keep my self calm but nothing worked so researched about it and m here. I just have a stuck thought which is not going away. I do not have any fear or any belief that something will happen. But it is just a thought which keeps clicking inmy mind and does not goes away. I need help on this stuck thought in my brain .Any help will be appreciated. (Preferably homeopathic).

Repetitive tasks, intrusive and repetitive thoughts, checking, counting, disproportionate excess need for order and cleanliness, as well as anxiety when not able to do the same are signs of obsessive compulsive disorder. Patients with OCD suffer from significant distress, anxiety and depression due to the same which impairs their quality of life. Please consult a Psychiatrist at the earliest. With a combination of medication and behavioral therapy it is likely that the symptoms will improve.
