My teeth were fine until my dentist filled them I went for wisdom tooth pain. She said you have three superficial cavities you should fill them I got them filled. Still had very sensitive teeth and throbbing pain so I went to her again she said you have two more cavities one is minor superficial that's causing pain n sensitivity and one is in wisdom tooth I got them filled too but still some of teeth are sensitive. I'm confuse what to do now what seems to be the problem. Acc to the dentist none of my cavities was deep.

You have pain and sensitivity because of these superficial cavities. Enamel gets weared off and dentine is exposed and cause sensitivity and pain. This can be because of over and hard brushing and tooth grinding habit know as bruxism. If you have these habit you need retainers and orthodontic treatment along with filling the cavity. Or you may have rampant caries. Some times the person who had rampant caries in their deciduous dentition have also this type of caries in permanent dentition. Go for thorough investigation to rule out the cause.

Hi if your teeth are still sensitive, and you are certain of the area involved, you need to see the dentist again. There might be decay between the teeth that is often difficult to detect and maybe overlooked, esp. When other more obvious lesions are present. A more detailed examination necessitated by persistent symptoms after such symptoms might well lead to the detection of such problems. You also have the option of a second opinion. Often, a different person might be able to look at your problem more objectively, and, maybe locate the issue. In the meantime, you can use any desensitizing toothpaste 2 to 3 times a day to help with the symptoms.
