My son is 4.5 year old, diagnosed with mild autism at age of 3 in USA . I got early intervention and now he gets 2 speech and 2 OT at school. We plan to come back to India next year and not sure of what school therapy would be best for him. He now has lots of words, physically super active, great eye contact. Only issue is comprehension, like he repeats what we say, respond on name, understands some of things we ask but he does not know social interaction. Nor their are full sentences, its just his communication which bothers me. He writes reads alphabets numbers and 3 letter spellings too. Can you suggest best schools therapies for him?

Hi lybrate-user, Based on what you described it looks like he is on the path of improvement. But to keep the progress therapies need to be more regular. This kind of product will give you oppurtunity to talk to him about the activities what is happening with him in sentences and his orientation will improve. It will help you to improve his vocabilary and sentences. As for his imitation I would like to if it is immediate or does he repeat after delay.
