I have complete acl tear in left knee and at the time of injury there are also some microscopic fracture in the knee, so my doctor has applied plaster cast on knee for 40 days. Now the plaster cast has been removed and doctor has examined the knee, he said knee is stable and no need of surgery. I have visited another orthopedic specialist, he suggest me that your knee is stable and continue with your daily activities and if you feel knee giving away then only we will do surgery. One of my friend also had grade 3 acl tear last year, he got suggestion from multiple specialist that for grade 3 acl tear, surgery is needed and not any other option, so he has done the surgery. In my case I am really confused that I had complete acl tear and both doctor suggested me that I can skip surgery and try physiotherapy first becoz my knee is stable, I am really depressed now becoz of these injury, heard many different facts about this injury.
