Hi, I am a male age 37 My dermatologist has diagnosed me with acute urticaria and asked to get my blood work done. I did two tests within a gap of a week. The results are as follows First test Hemoglobin 13.1 Rbc count 4.93 Total wbc count 11950 polymorph, lymphocytes, eosinophilic, monocyte and basophil at 60,27,2,11 and 0 respectively. All other parameters are normal except for blood indices M.C.H and RDW at 26. 6 and 14.9 respectively. Platelet count is normal and smear study shows rbc are normocytic and normochromic, and no premature cells. In the second test the changes are as follows Total wbc count is 7490 polymorph and lymphocytes at 74 and 18 respectively. eosinophilic, monocyte and basophil are Normal. All other parameters are normal except for blood indices M.C.H and RDW at 26.8 and 15 respectively. Platelet count is normal and smear study shows rbc are normocytic and normochromic, and no premature cells. Except for wbc series shows relative neutrophil Between the two tests I have been on antibiotics constituting of metronidazole. Are my reports ok.
