Doctor, I'm 28 weeks pregnant. I had bleeding towards the end of third trimester. I was diagnosed with polyp in uterus. I was prescribed with progesterone tablets for 1 month and to continue proluton depot 500 mg inj once in a week till 36 weeks. Is it safe to take it for such a prolonged period? because of such a prolonged use will there be any effect on baby in future?

it is safe to take this injection. don't worry as you having bleeding it prevent placental insufficiency.
