I have been using metformin 500 for over 10 years and sugar levels are under control. LAst 10 days I have the tingling sensation followed by pain in left leg calf muscle. This comes only when I sit and disappears in 2 minutes. There is no problem while sleeping or walking/standing. This is temporary and is only occurs in the calf muscle area/. I have started the intake of Vit B12 and Alpha Lipoic acid. There is some improvement but I am looking for a long term diagnosis and treatment. My age is 71 and I am keeping normal health.
