I am a 23 year old male .I recently found out that my haemoglobin level was 5.9.now it is at 9.4 after blood transfusion. I had been feeling symptoms of low level since before 3 or for years like tiredness and head spinning, mouth sores. Of all that memory problems was also there. Still I feel memory problems very badly. MY QUESTION IS. How badly this level gonna affect my memory and brain. Will I feel better after HB level comes back to normal? Please answer.

Dear. HB levels cannot affect memory. Yes you can feel symptoms of tiredness, breathlessness, oral ulcers, frequent infections and so on. If your HB levels are so low and you required blood transfusion, then there may be some reason or disease. Otherwise HB levels can be maintained with medication and healthy diet. Do get your blood tests done. Of course you will feel better with normal HB levels. Send more details or send a private message for further evaluation.
