My brother (a newborn baby) of 10 days old. His heart is beating faster than the normal infanil baby's heartbeat. I don't know what may be the cause. Is this a serious case? Doctor please help.

First of all one should know what's normal heart rate for babies, then you can say if it's faster or not. Compared to adults baby's heart rate is generally high. Again it varies from 120-160 depending on whether her sleeping, feeding, crying, happy etc. If in doubt see your doctor.
