My son's decayed wisdom tooth was extracted 2 months back and root canal was advised for another tooth. But when root canal was started, the Dentist left it half way and sealed it to come for next appointment as the needle he used was short of the required depth. Just want to know (1) wisdom tooth extraction can cause any implications now or later (2) how can short needle issue could be solved if the cannot get the required length - one option the Doctor said was that they could shorten the concerned tooth by grinding the surface to the extent of the needle length.

1) Wisdom tooth removal is totally different issue .It will not cause any implications. 2) Special long files are available for such cases .After that if problem not solved, one can trim the tooth.
