Hi, My dad is diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. His MRI is done after 10 days of his Biopsy. I got two different opinion of doctors. One oncologist asked to do Radiation because it is T3a Stage. And second doctor asked to wait and do MRI after 2 weeks. The reason given by second doctor is: the biopsy showed nothing we need to do IHC and there too it showed very small gland and according to that the cancer should be local and not spread. Sometimes post biopsy if MRI is done before 4 weeks. This might affect MRI Results. Now I am not sure should I wait for two weeks to confirm its spread or not or should I start treatment right away. The only difference in both case are: if after second MRI it comes as locally confide diseases then we can do surgery and remove it else we need to go for radiation.
