I'm 74 years old and I'm suffering from diabetes mellitus type 2 and taking medication glimisave M1 in the morning and tenlimac M ER twice a day. Since last 3 days my sugar levels are lowered even till 58 mg/dl as I have changed from Teniva M ER to tenlimac M ER. Earlier it used to be 85-90 fbs.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Usually Tenelegliptin with metformin is given once a day. Whereas Glimiperide and metformin combinations are (either 1 mg, 2 mg with 500 mg metformin) are given once or twice a day. Tenelegliptin is given once only. I am not aware of twice a day dosage. Please check with your doctor and adjust the dose. Thanks.
