My thyroid level is 5.02 and my doctor gave me Tab Thyronorm 12. 5 mg to take daily for 1& half month, shall I take the medicine? Also I have been diagnosed as fibroadenosis with my prolactin level normal but confused with the thyroid level. So please clarify my doubt, what shall I do? Will be very grateful to you. thank you.

5.02 TSH suggests subclinical hypothyroidism which may or may not require treatment depending on symptoms. thyronorm 12.5 is thyroxine(T4) itself. so no harm in taking it if it is adviced by your doctor.
