One patient admit in one hospital. affected with tumor. Then surgery done to remove tumor. But the doctor did not biopsy before the operation. After the operation the remove tumor send to laboratory for test. The result cancer (RCC). So after the operation that cell spread to other parts. Then change the hospital for proper treatment. Now my question is can I ask that doctor legally why you did not biopsy before the operation?

Most of the renal tumors are presumed to be RCC unless there is a suspicion of lymphoma. If operable kidney tumor, then Biopsy is not recommended as it leads to tumor seeding in the tract of Biopsy, which is responsible for recurrence. Removal of tumor does not lead to spread of cancer. It is the aggressive biology which is responsible. Even if the tumor has spread, the newer targeted therapy (oral drugs like sunitinib) is used and shows good response rates.
