My 8 year daughter has grown up till now in a nuclear family. As both of us are working and wanted good night sleep, we used to make her wear diaper till 2 months back. Now we are attempting to make her not wear diaper. Some nights she is not bed wetting but there are nights when she is. We are waking her up at 3 am every night to relieve her bladder and then put her again to sleep. It is working but on some nights she is bed wetting before 3 am. Please let me know whether we are doing right or something need to be changed. For your information we make her pee before going to bed, and discourage her to have water after 9 pm.

Hello, She is having nocturnal enuresis. It improves with age. If even after restricting fluids before bed and waking her at night enuresis is not resolving than you can opt for alarm therapy; in which your daughter will wake up as soon as she starts voiding urine. It has a high success rate. The last option will be to put her on medication or spray at night time. Appreciate when she do not wet bed. You can consult me for any help required.

Prepone about one hour for urination and liquid should be minimum 2-3 hrs before sleep this should help otherwise personal consultation needed.
