Hello Doctor, I'm 35 years old male, 6.2 height & 97 Kg weight. For the past 6 months I have almost regularly walked for 45 mins, exercised for 30 mins & reduced more than 10 kgs, Last week I have took a medical test & the following results have shown some high values. Please provide advise on how to get these parameters in control. Total cholesterol- 210 mg/dl Triglycerides- 368 mg/dl FBS- 138 mg/dl Urine sugar- positive PPBS- 241 mg/dl HbA1c- 7.6 % Urine Test Albumin- Trace Sugar- Positive Other values for blood count, liver, kidney tests are in proper range. Hi you have done an excellant job walking and exercising. Your lipid profile is abnormal and you can do the following. Diet modification to bring it down to normal. 1.eat on time and regularly 2.eat max. At breakfast. Lighter in afternoon and lightest at dinner. 3.schedule your dinner around 8 to 9 pm. 4.sleep early if possible. 5.include fruits 6.total ban on icecrems. Tofees.sweets and junks 7.do not skip meals. 8.we all have our stress. But donot stress at sleep 9.omit rice. Depend on chapatis 10. Increase water intake. 6 to 7 litres a day. 11. Donot overeat. Eat only to normalise hunger. 12. Restrict calorie intake to 2500kcal/day 13. Total ban on smoke and alcohol.
