I am a 22 years old female. I was having tinnitus in my right ear since 1 month. I consulted a doc he diagnosed retracted tympanic membrane. He said membrane is completely retracted. N asked about any cold or allergies in d past but I do not hav any such history. He also asked about any pus or discharge which is also not there .just tinnitus. Will it b relieved. N gave me some cetrizine n otrivin nasal drops n steam inhalation n asked me to perform valsalva. I just want to ask if this will work? I Also wanted to know the cause for it? Or will you suggest me something?

Whether Audiogram was done If not get it done If you can pass air into the middle ear by Valsalva then tinnitus may be due to auditory nerve weakness then you will have to take nerve tonic and capsule Tinnex.
