I feel very sleepy through out the day even after taking 8to 9 hours sleep every night. Is there any way to reduce sleep quota and bring quality over quantity in sleep. please suggest me some effective ways.

It may be due to stress. Psychological problems or physical condition disturbed sleep by psychological or physical condition so first you have to diagnose what is the cause of your condition.
