Hi doctor am a female age 28 yrs. I have been having pain in my underarms since many years (around 7-9 yrs). This pain is usually in the form of lumps in my underarms which gets more painful prior to my periods. However, the lumps still remain even after the period ends. Its like its always present. Since last year, I have been having severe neck and shoulder pain. I can feel and internal muscle crumbled up in my shoulder which causes acute pain when pressed hard. I have taken various medications, dry needling as well as physio therapy but the pain refuses to go away. I have checked for any signs in my breast, but they are painful only prior to my periods and pain goes away after 2-3 days of mensuration. However, this time my breasts are still tender and have slight pain even after the periods. Not in any lump form but generally tender and painful. Every morning my throat feels like I have little mucus (like during cough) which comes out when I freshen my mouth. I am a bit worried. Could this be something serious?
