Hi, my question is for my baby. He is two and half years old and he is G6PD deficient. I just want to know that what should I have to give him to eat. Doctor told me to not to give him rajma and other beans. Is there any harmful effects on him if I give him those things? Please doctor help me to understand things. Thanks.

Certain medication need not be given in G6PD deficiency person because if we give it than there is a risk of heamorrhage and which can complicate things and your Paediatrician will inform you about medication which need not be given and as far as diet is concerned as of now follow your doctor advice
