Please avoid or limit those fruits or food items which are very sweet. Please read about Diabetes and it's management from the internet and adapt healthy lifestyle. Eat in moderation (note that sweets are not completely banned!) Your overall calorie count and the quality of food is more important in the long run. You can take the help of a dietician who can help you prepare a diet chart with lot of options and how much to consume depending upon your body needs to maintain an ideal weight. (However your favourite food or fruit can be included so that you do not feel like a patient ). The role of exercise is equally important and therefore have a balanced approach while avoiding stress/worry etc.
