My wife (43 yrs) suffer severe pain during 1st 2-3 days of menstrual period which was diagnosed as menopause by 2 doctors (after ult. Scanning) and one of them had given a hormone tablet. During her visit to hometown (Kerala) she consulted another doctor. As per scanning report it is fibroid with 27x30 mm. Now Dr. Prescribed Mifeone25 mg/Fibroease for 3 months. I am anxious and afraid that why the 2 other doctors and scan report failed to find out the presence of fibroid? Also pls. Suggest the above medicine can be taken for good result. Waiting for your reply. Fyi. The pain during periods started just 5-6 months back only.

Fibroids live on oestrogen hormone and it increase in size as oestrogen levels increase in blood and after taking hormone tablets it?s size might have increased leading to identification in the next ultrasound reports and as of now we will wait for the symptoms to subside and if necessary plan for early hysterectomy surgery.
