Give her proteins - this is the best way to improve her muscle mass and yet keep her sugar levels down. Pulses (dal), Sprouts, Soya , egg whites - these are excellent sources of protein. Considering her age, I would suggest you cook the proteins and then give her - that way it will be easier for her to digest them For eg- steamed sprouts are easier to digest than the raw ones. You can start with one small cup of proteins everyday for 25 days. Then you can progress to 2 cups. She will not require more than 2 small cups of protein daily.
