Hello doctor doctor I am very tensed my brother have done anal sex so he us in fear of hiv but he has tested 5 th month western blot test p24 combo test antibody screening test. All reports are normal bit now he is in very fear he thinks that antibody can be generated at any time is it true? Please tell what is the maximum window period for generating antibody in hiv test. He is going to depressed please help us. Infect his partner has also done hiv test he is also negative. But my brother is not understanding anything. What should we do please help us doctors.

He seems to have crossed the boundaries of normal HIV fear into delusional belief of acquiring HIV, so better consult a psychiatrist to alter his thoughts. His tests seem conclusive. All the best.
