Surgery needs to be done so that her eye and brain develops a normal vision and her vision status we will be able to judge at 18 years of age and at that time we will decide if any other surgery is possible or not

If squint disappear with glasses, not to worry. If eyes remail sqinting, must go for surgery to avoid permanent one eye vision week. It is not an eye operation and nothing to do with vision loss in surgery. It is an external surgery and quite safe. You must get op. At the age 5 to 6.If done late ,vision will be less in one eye for ever.
