Hi, I am 20 years male. Stool is fine. But from last 10 days mucus is coming in stool. White, thick jelly like mucus. And today I saw some blood in that mucus. I don't eat outside junk food. I don't drink nor smoke. Is it cancer? Will I die? No cancer record in family. But I'm very afraid if it.

Usually it is a sign of amebic or bacterial dysentery rather than cancer. Other cause could be ulcerative colitis. Cancer is a rare cause in acute setting. Show to a surgeon or gastroenterologist, who would examine you and if need be, ask for a stool examination and prescribe an antibiotic for 3-5 days. If no resolution of symptoms then he may do a colonoscopy. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.
