I am a male, 25 years old, height 165 cm, weight 66 kg. I have pain in the fascia muscle in my right heel which is acute. After 6 sessions of physiotherapy, seeing minor improvement in my condition, I had an X-ray done to check for Spur growth, but there wasn't any. Now, I have been advised to continue the physio therapy sessions and I have been put on medication of Aspire D3, and Nurokind G. My query is related to the latter medicine, which has been prescribed for once a day, at night, for a month. Is this medicine meant for my ailment? Also is this medicine a steroid. I am asking as a second opinion.

Fascia or Fasciopathy at heel is usually Plantar fascitis or Plantar Fascia Tendinopathy in acute condition, Ice massage at heel and Calf stretching helps alot. Physio treatment comprising of Low Level LASER therapy or Shockwave Therapy or Ultrasound therapy , followed by Active Release Technique ( ART ) for Plantar fascia, and Ex. hallucis muscle , Calcaneum mobilisation along with some rest and Postural Correction with modified shoe sole will help you immensely. Good luck !
