If your T3 and T4 levels are normal you are suffering from a condition called subclinical hypothyroidism. It may sometimes revert to normal. Avoid cruciferous vegetables.

Dear lybrateuser, - The thyroid gland secretes the thyroid hormones, TSH is thyroid stimulating hoone which triggers the secretion from the gland, its deficiency leads to hormonal imbalance - the deficiency can be made up by taking medication as advised by the doctor - the levels of the hormone have to be monitored regularly & once they stabilise it has to again be seen whether the drug withdrawal or decreased dosage affects the levels, so if the body does not produce adequate levels of the hormones it can be for lifetime.
