You need to see physician or Cardiologist for basic workup including ecg and echo. Healthy diet and exercise especially low salt, regular exercise, avoid smoking or alcohol if any. Depending on your findings, doctor may prescribe BP or diabetes medicine. TMT or other stress test may also be required.

Dear lybrateuser, - To reduce your blood & cholesterol level you have to follow a healthy lifestyle including a well balanced heart healthy diet, do regular exercise, sleep well, keep stress levels at the minimum& reduce weight - have a salt restricted diet, avoid fried, processed & junk food, also restrict tea, coffee intake to 1-2 cups per day - have more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, legumes, sprouts, a handful of mixed nuts like almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts - have heart healthy fats containing foods as in fish such as salmon, tuna, mackeral, nuts, avocados & flax seeds - do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, cycling, also do yoga, meditation & deep breathing to reduce bp, cholesterol & to keep fit - destress by proper sleep for 7-8 hrs at night, reading, listening to music or follow a hobby - try to reduce weight by diet & exercise.
